WSL Hosts World Student Leadership @ Malibu
Students Making an Impact Worldwide Labor Day Weekend, August 29-September 1st, 2008 Washington Student Leadership hosted 375 emerging leaders from several states and from 29 nations from around the world. They came to join Doug Coe and several other national leaders who shared the principles and person of Jesus of Nazareth. Sessions where rich with testimonials on how Jesus is our model of the true servant leader, whose worldview to serve the needy and save the lost will positively impact our communities and the globe. The vision of WSL was exemplified as this gathering connected leaders of all ages, fostering a dynamic inter-generational fellowship, equip students with a Kingdom centered worldview and inspired them to impact our state, nation, and the world. Plus who could forget the Malibu adventure found in the treetop ropes course, zip line, climbing Mt. Albert to Inspiration Point, wakeboarding, kayaking, or the Blob. Thank you for joining us.
About this Event Civic leaders, business leaders, religious leaders, and other adults passionate about the development of our future leaders host this event. These leaders encourage students and share personal insights regarding faith and values in our culture. The focus on faith and values centers on the leadership model of Jesus of Nazareth and the agenda is nondenominational. On behalf of these leaders Washington Student Leadership is inviting and connecting leaders of all ages and fostering a dynamic inter-generational fellowship.
